Employment Allegations
As a Board Certified employment lawyer, Lesa has investigated or supervised the investigation of allegations of sex harassment, unlawful touching, rape, undue influence, theft, wage and hour issues, improper conduct of executives, and various other allegations that arise in the workplace. Lesa has the ability to quickly apply the law to the facts and give pertinent, timely advice.
FCPA and Ethics Allegations
Whether travel to the location is required, or simply coordination with on site investigators is needed, Lesa is able to be there, armed with the knowledge of global ethics laws such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. She will provide an attorney-client privileged investigation of the allegations, as well as recommendations for moving forward.
Workplace Accidents
Uniquely qualified to investigate oilfield or other incidents resulting in injury, Lesa is frequently requested by Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) personnel to assist with complex investigations. She adds the important layer of attorney-client privilege at the time of the investigation. She knows how to work as a team player, while guiding the investigation to its proper and lawful conclusion and protecting the company from costly litigation. She works with OSHA and other agencies in a productive manner, always looking out for her client. She assists with handling media coverage, and is a reassuring resource for the employees and management involved.
